I recently discovered a new website I wanted to share – Jauntful. It is a very user-friendly site to create custom itineraries. It’s still in its growing phase but I’m loving its layout and options. I’m joining in on Bonnie Rose’s Travel Tuesday’s theme post and Jauntful seemed like the perfect way to share today’s theme. The theme is: share three things…the place you have been that you have loved the most, the place you cannot wait to visit, and something about the place you live.
Loved the Most:
So, if you read this post, you would know I’m not a favorites kind of girl. I crave variety and new experiences. I don’t like to compare every place to another; I appreciate each trip in its own right. Sure, some trips go better than others, or have bigger highlights, but it’s the overall experience…the I got to try it. For the purpose of this post, I’m going to share Ghent, Belgium. This was an almost didn’t happen experience, so I think it makes it a bit more special. Ghent was truly the highlight of our trip to Belgium. It was easy to navigate, had beautiful architecture, friendly locals, and was lively. Everyone said Bruge was the other city to see in Belgium but we went with our gut and I’m glad we didn’t miss out on Ghent. I can’t compare it to Bruge since we chose between the two, but I wouldn’t trade our experiences in Ghent.

Place You Cannot Wait to Visit:
I want to go to all of the places…but therehasto be a next and I’m really thinking it will be Italy. I want to go to Rome, Florence, and Venice. We just have to figure out which month would be the best time to visit (and save the $$). I’ve been taking notes from bloggers who have visited, but recommendations from anyone reading this would be most welcomed. I want to go when it is relatively warm…I hate traveling during the cold months. I’ve already been gathering dining and drinking options, and thought it would be fun to share with you some of my craftbeerfinds for Rome.Craft Beer in Rome
A Thing About Where You Live:
P and I live in Raleigh, NC but I’m going to share my top date night picks for Durham, which is about 20 minutes from us. If P and I did not work in Raleigh, than we would move to Durham in a second. Raleigh has some great places too, but downtown Durham is a bit more compact so it makes going to any of these picks very easy. We make it to Durham at least once a month.Date Night in Durham:

I will be posting itineraries for all my past travel posts so be on the look out and make sure to follow me on Jauntful. I can’t wait to see what itineraries you guys create!
