And why, yes–yes, I am back to using Seinfeld to represent my Humpday Confessions with Vodka & Soda, but I warned you guys, I have a problem…this may be a cry for help 😉

- When I write comments on people’s blogs on a regular basis, but they don’t visit mine or respond; I feel like the episode on Seinfeld where George leaves things in the woman’s apartment to get her to call him back. Co-stan-za
- The “thank you” email drives me nuts. I mean, if I went above and beyond fine; but sending me a thank you email for simply responding–is beyond a waste of time. Come on people! **Update: not from bloggers, I mean sometimes there isn’t a lot of say to a comment but you want the person to know you appreciate it…I send the “thank you” too!! This is for work situations–sorry, clearly I was a bit too brief in my explanation 🙂
- I’ve got to start reading over my comments to other bloggers…I make SO many typos. I usually realize it a split second after I hit enter. I’m sorry! I’m going to try to do better. It’s embarrassing!
- I use zero push notifications on my phone. If you want to reach me in a timely manner you have to text me. I always wonder when I email or Facebook-message late if the person uses push notifications, and is it alerting them at midnight?
- And….I’m participating in my first ever giveaway over at Megan Joy Jaunts. Who doesn’t like free stuff?!?
Make sure to see what other confessions are being spilled this week over on Kathy’s blog!

I’m looking forward to writing the novel I’ve been sitting on for years.
I’m looking forward to my sister coming to visit in June, and to plan my wedding!
I’ve worked at a summer camp for the last 8 years of my life, every summer, and I’m not this year. SO, honestly, I’m looking forward to having a summer to do whatever the heck I want. So excited!!
I’m most looking forward to not having to rush out the door to take kids to school & pool trips!
I am most looking forward to taking the kids OUTSIDE to play! I hate being cooped up in the house with a bunch of bored kiddos!
I’m looking forward to tank tops and shorts at night.
The one I really don’t get is the ‘no reply’ … there is one small blog I follow, where the person used to privately email me on rare occasions for a reply, but never on the blog … and not just me. She never replies to anyone, although there are very few comments.
It was particularly weird when she posted looking for advice / comments … I replied, as did one other person. I never heard anything, nor did she comment back on the blog. Makes me wonder what she is up to …
I’m guilty of the work thank you emails… I keep trying to stop but I honestly feel rude not acknowledging!
I hear that. Sometimes I have no reply to their comment on my page but I at least always click over to read their post…common courtesy in my mind 🙂 (hint, hint…haha totally j/k lol)
I’m right there with the typos. I think I get so excited and don’t want to lose my train of thought that I don’t really pay attention to my typing (plus half the time I’m looking at a TV while typing so the finger my slip here or there – whoops).
I think the only time the “thank you” email drives me nuts is when I leave a lengthy and thoughtful comment. So frustrating ha ha! I’ve made quite a few typos before proof reading and they drive me nuts. I’m definitely with you on that one ha ha!
Oh, and my favorite thing about the summer is the warm weather and being able to go swimming and to the beach!!
“Thank you” responses are the WORST! I always wonder if they’ve even read what I wrote, haha!
Most looking forward to frozen margaritas on our little balcony! 🙂
Cookouts and leaving for australia 🙂
The pointless thank you is like the “K” reply to a text that didn’t need a reply, and always makes me feel like I need to reply again, and then it turns into the “Thank you for the thank you card you gave me for the thank you email I sent you…”
I hate when I make a typo in a post or email and realize it later. I always think people are silently judging my typos. Hah.
I do the same thing when leaving comments….I don’t reread what I write before I hit “comment” or “send” or “submit” or whatever….and then as it is processing I am like…well gosh darn….there are 5 typos and that last sentence makes no sense because I used the wrong word. oops!
I referenced Lost Boys today so I think your George is perfectly acceptable. You don’t need those young whipper snappers bothering you anyways 😉
I make so many typos and then I am always mortified to read them later.
And to answer the giveaway question- I am most excited about it being warm this summer. I hate the cold
haha that episode of seinfeld is so funny! I always wondered if people actually do that to get a call back or to get a second date. I have never met anyone in real life that has.. but i have to wonder if they write from real life experiences. 🙂
i also give them like a 3 month rule. sometimes they are going through tough times or it’s a really busy season, but after that, I stop commenting and reading their blog. 😀 And I don’t even expect them to comment alll the time. I just want like ONE to at least acknowledge that they’ve seen my site and that they’ve done one thing to try to get to know me.
ALSO to add to this list.. I hate when you get on a group text message that you don’t really want to be a part of and they have conversations FOR DAYS.
that is all.
I have typos all the time and I hate them! When they are especially bad, I leave a follow-up comment to correct it. I just can’t help it. Also I love your Seinfeld references so keep them coming!
Since I work at a school, I’m looking forward to fewer students and less craziness… my office needs to be cleaned!
Lol I wish I was clever enough to have thought to send “you’re welcome” emails lol. As for the giveaway. WeFest is always the highlight of my summer.
The knowing when to stop in virtual conversations really does miss some people! Per the giveaway though I am most looking forward to drinking a beer in London!
Costanza! I totally get what you’re saying on all points above. I’m always so worried about waking someone with a message due to being so many time zones ahead of the US.
Thanks for sharing the giveaway thingum!
I am so there with you on commenting daily on someones blog and they never return the favor, not even once!
I completely agree – the “thank you” email is worthless! I’m looking forward to evenings spent on the patio with a cold beverage, my friends, and my dog.
I’m looking forward to lazy hot days spent in a hammock under our willow tree.
Do you mean they thank you for responding to a comment? So someone commented, you replied, and they thank you for the reply? (I needed to get that straight in my head.) If we do that it would never end – your ecard explains it perfectly.
Bloggerquette is tricky though. I guess some people are so worried about doing it right, that they go overboard. #bloggerproblems
Except the rude ones – nobody has time for that.
Haha yes, typos in the replies all the time. Its so true, its not stupidity its just laziness, It happens the exact same way to me too, right after I hit send or enter. It’s the worst when its their name too.. So embarrassing lol! Hate that! 😉

Haha I feel terrible sending back thank you emails but I always worry they will think I’m being a bitch for not responding.
Ooh and I am definitely looking forward to street fests this summer!
i dont like the thank you emails either, though i will admit i have sent one or two when i dont know what else to say, lol. what am i supposed to say to ‘pretty!’ or ‘ooh, nice!’ – no. also, screw everyone that ignores you, rude!
Free stuff rocks.
I have this “must reply” thing to all comments, and recently I’m like if it’s just a thank you, do I need to? Oy.
I was super tired Monday and left a bunch of comments that made no effing sense. hahahaha
I am totally with you on the typo thing- and I love that ecard! Lol
YESSS I agree with all of these!
those bitches who ignore you? FUCK THEM. for real. it used to anger me too but if bitches are going to be rude like that, then they don’t deserve my feelings or emotions or time. byyyeeee!!!!
thanks for linking up! 🙂
