I’m back on board with the Creative Collective, for this week’s theme “Hunting For Photos”. This theme could not have come at a better time, as I’m trying to learn how to use my new camera. We had a gorgeous weekend here in NC, sunny, (so sunny) and warm! P and I were out and about for most of it. Saturday morning we went to Durham to visit the farmers market, I finally got to try Monuts (which made the 21 best donuts in the US list from the Huffington Post), had lunch, and then came home and took Sam to one of our neighborhood breweries. It was a great weekend!
I have a thing for signs…I’m just a sucker for a neat logo. So, I went hunting for signs/designs around town 🙂
It was outstanding performance from you and i know most of the educators are enjoy this creativity in here. So i hope they found more tips how they did good in the study.
Oh man.. what? 21 donuts in the US? So down.. I haven’t checked out the one in LV yet. Blue star in portland is AMAZING. i am kinda disappointed that Donut Man in Glendora CA didn’t make the list though.. I would say that it’s right up there with Blue Star.
Love the photos of your puppy! I also have a thing taking photos of signs, but I tend to have a preference for doors and too often find them as the subjects of my photos.
Great choice of theme and selection Mariah! Font choice has been taking me longer when doing pics for the blog since doing the skillshare classes lol. I love the simplicity of some of these! And your dog is gorgeous, sounds like a perfect weekend!
Oh I’m a sucker for a good logo or packaging too! Looks like you have some great sources of inspiration around there. Lucky! I live close to a little “Danish” town so most of the signage is pretty much the same unfortunately…

I want to visit your town! My blog friend turned real friend has been in NC while her husband is at Duke and talks about the Parlour quite often – I think she’ll miss it when she’s back in Houston! Great photos!
Also I of course had to look at the donut list and I’ve been to two (Gourdough’s and The Donut Vault) but not the Houston one, which I drive past every time I go get fancy coffee before work. Must remedy that ASAP!
