Reader, it’s been a few weeks since my last confession and I feel like it is time to get some things off my chest. I confess:
- I never did update you on what camera bag and strap I chose from my Top 5 Camera Bag and Strap Picks. So here goes:

Both from Etsy
Bag~Porteengear~Leather Camera Bag with Blue Tartan
I thought this would be a bit more grey than brown but it is still nice. It’s a great size!
Strap~RSVP Handcrafted~Leather Strap
Not the most comfortable but very lovely.
Also, I’m pretty jealous of Esther’s awesome new strap.
- I’m slowly losing little pieces of my mind but I’m hoping to find them soon.
- I only have one more week of work!!! I’m SO excited and scared all at the same time!! What am I going to do with myself…oh yeah…pack!
- We didn’t really watch the World Cup, but we are all over the Tour de France. We catch-up every night. Secretly (or not so secretly now) I kind of look forward to the wrecks (but not for people to get hurt)…I feel terrible for confessing this. The downhill parts make me so nervous. I yell at the stupid spectators that get in the bikers faces. Seriously, I would hit someone who got in front of me like some of those crazy spectators! And this guy did in the 2011 race.
- I’ve already pinned over 30 restaurants to try in San Diego…P said, “I don’t imagine very many dinners at home in our future.” Also, I can’t wait to try this place for brunch.
- I’m kind of feeling like a bad-ass blogger this week because I started the week with three blog posts completed! Winning! 🙂
- I hope all of you will come back tomorrow to see part two of Tara’s food journey. Oh, you didn’t catch part one…no worries, here it is. You are welcome!

Looove the camera strap! I have been wanting to get one for myself. Good job on being a super blogger with all your posts, lady!
It’s awesome when you can get a ton of blog posts up. I’ve been slacking a bit lately. Too much going on. I can’t wait to hear about all the new restaurants you will probably be trying.
Nice job on the blog posts! I can’t even hardly manage being one post ahead 😉
Ohhh I bet that list of 30 is just going to keep growing. San Diego must have tons of great spots!
You can never go wrong at the Hotel Del, for certain! Great brunch choice!
Super cute camera strap! You are going to LOVE San Diego, it is seriously such an amazing city and lots of great restaurants and breweries!
Oooh, fancy camera strap!!! 🙂
I’m so excited for your foodie adventures to come…
Researching the best places to eat is really the most important thing ever. 😀 Love the camera strap too!
I love visiting (or moving) to new places because that means there are so many new restaurants to try! Can’t wait to see posts when you finally make it to SD 🙂
i like your strap too though! haha maybe grass is greener on the other side! maybe you’ll win!! 🙂
When you’re in a new place you have top find all the best foods DUH lol
I hope you have an amazing time on your trip! Sounds like you are going to go out to eat a lot 😀
So many new food opportunities in your new home!
People watching is one of my favorite things.
Totally irrational but I hate TdF since one time when we were staying a hostel this girl decided to totally ignore the fact that me and Fredrik were engaged and kept sitting on his bed next time talking about how much she loved it!
I love that camera strap + bag!
I love brunch, it’s always my favorite thing to try on vacation and when I move somewhere new. I too bought a prettier than comfortable strap so I’ll be checking out your top 5 post! Three posts ready to go is rockin’!
I love brunch too!! I think #4 on that post seems comfortable…I’m considering getting that one too 🙂
Only one more week of work left, I’m jealous! It will be great, you will love it. More blogging time! More packing time! More beer time!! 😉
Have a fun trip and relax!! The pieces of your mind will all come together again.
Talk to you in a week!
hahahaha i can’t believe people run in front of the bikers, that guy deserved to get punched! lol. i hate watching people fall, but i kind of love it too. as long as they dont get seriously hurt.
My mind is far gone! Love the camera!
I love San Diego!!! The Mexican food is so good!!
my husband is all over TdF – it’s on every night. did you see the race where that guy fell on the turn? i think it happened on monday. ouch!!
Sad to say that watching people get injured never gets old. Ever. And only 30 restaurants? I mean you have real life to live there, so that really isn’t too bad at all!
