Never Have I Ever…

January 14, 2015 by Mariah 19 Comments

Never Have I Ever via Food, Booze, & BaggageNever Have I Ever via Food, Booze, & Baggage

Today, I’m joining with the Circle linkup on their theme of…can’t you guess?! That’s right, “never have I ever”. How did you guess? 🙂 I always find these types of posts interesting, because it gives you a little more insight into the person behind the blog.

THE CIRCLE LINK-UP

So, NEVER HAVE I EVER….

Gotten or considered getting a tattoo

Never been admitted to the hospital (even when I was born)

Tried on a wedding dress, nor will I, since I’m already hitched. I just got something simple from ModCloth for our courthouse wedding.

Spent over $300 on shoes

Been to Mexico

Dyed my hair

Been arrested…let’s hope it stays that way!

Been to Mardi Gras and don’t have a desire to go (maybe that explains the last one). Along the same line is NYE in Times Square, never been and don’t want to.

Visited California before we came to look for a place to live

Had anything pierced other than my ears

Broken a bone or needed stitches (knock on wood!)

Been to Colorado, but hope to this year!

Since this also feels like a confession, I’m linking up with Humpday Confessions.  And while I’m confessing, I guess I’m quite the link-up slut today, because I have one more to add.  Let’s not forget about the fabulous Miriam’s Let’s Grow Together linkup. No rules, just hop over and make friends.

We’ve got lots in common! I love that these posts let me learn more about you as the blogger and discover all that we have in common. For example, I definitely could not spend $300 on shoes, either! 🙂

    Thanks for linking up!

$300 on shoes is obscene. I’ve never been to Mardi Gras and I have no desire to. NYE in Times Square is completely overrated.

I’ve also never been arrested. Which is absolutely fine with me 🙂

This link-up is so much fun!! I have never ever had a bone broken either, or had a tattoo, or paid $300 (!!!) for shoes!! However, I have never ever eaten tofu until 2015 and never tried seaweed until a couple of days ago. I hope to add to the list of new things to try in 2015!

I might have a heart attack if I spent $300 on shoes. I don’t even like spending $50! And I’ve only got my ears pierced too but it took me until I was 16 to work up the courage to get that done. And now I’m curios about where you were born??

$300 on shoes is ridiculous! I don’t understand how some people spend thousands on them. I’ve never been to Mardi Gras either, but I do actually want to go once. Though I’m sure I’ll be the one back at the room early. Hah

I am a hair dye addict but I think it is amazing when someone has never dyed theirs!

Hehe, thanks for the mention you lil link-up minx, you! You are too funny, love it.
But honestly, never dyed your hair? That’s so impressive! I’ve never tried on a wedding dress either – unless you count the two I tried on from girlfriends? You already know how much I love your dress you wore for your wedding, it’s total perfection.

I love this idea for a post! I’ve never been to Mexico either. Almost everyone I know has and think it’s weird I haven’t…and don’t really have a desire to go either.

I’ve never tried on a wedding dress either. I know a lot of girls try them on or day dream about them loooong before finding someone special -but not me. I have never been to time’s square or even New York for that matter. I used to want to see the ball drop in person but the older I get the less fun that sounds.

Never will I EVER spend that much on shoes!!! I have spent quite a bit on running shoes but that was a must to prevent injury but after the initial fitting I bought my shoes at other places that were less expensive.

Wow!!! Never even dyed your hair!! That’s awesome! And I would never even consider spending that much money on shoes. Truthfully I would never spend more than $100 on shoes unless they were sneakers and even then it’s doubtful.

Goodness. Spent over $300 on shoes? I don’t think I’ve spent more than $150 on shoes! And those were my running shoes, so you know how THAT goes 🙂

Many of the same! Never been arrested, to Mardi Gras or Times Square NYE (and don’t want to in either case), had stitches, broken a bone, been to Colorado. I also haven’t been admitted to the hospital since birth, but I was born in one.

    This was fun!

I have never been to Mardi Gras or, even in all the time I lived in New York, NYE in Times Square. I hate the idea of being squashed in a big noisy rowdy crowd. It sets off every claustrophobic alarm in my body!

You weren’t admitted to the hospital when you were born? I bet that’s an interesting story! I’ve never gotten a tattoo either. Nothing against them, just way too permanent for me!

oooh so you were born… at home? or what? 🙂 i’m sorry if thats too nosy. i totally wanted to do something small for our wedding – i even bought a dress of asos for the courthouse wedding but we ended up having something bigger so i had to get a ‘real’ dress. i have only broken 1 little bone, but i have definitely had more stitches than i care to remember!

Wow- I’ve done all of these except gone to Colorado (I want to!), Mardi Gras or spent over $300 on shoes. I’ve had butterfly stitches in my chin so I suppose those count even though it was just tape?
