I have to say I’m looking forward to the fresh start this month brings, I need a reset. September was a hard month, we had a less than smooth move and I was sick for about 2-weeks. Basically I had one maybe one and a half weeks of productivity. Some months I look forward to the clean start and I’m hoping for a much better October 🙂
Along with my own clean start this month, we are rebranding our goal setting linkup name to Clear The List. Same linkup, new name 🙂 Join me and my co-hosts, Esther from Local Adventurer, Lindsay from Lindsay Does Languages, and Shannon from Eurolinguiste in encouraging each other in reaching our goals, and #clearthelist. Linkup your goal setting post below and cheer your fellow bloggers on with their goals.

September Goals
Honestly, as I type this, I have no idea what I wrote down as my September goals. It was a just get through it kind of month.
Moving! Well, yes, yes, we did move. There were tons of little repair issues/annoyances with the new place, but we have finally got most of them fixed and we are moved and settled. I still need to do a little more work on the office (per usual), but pictures are hung and all that jazz. I worked very hard getting it all done in the beginning of September. Then I promptly got sick, but at least I made it through the move.
Bloom Hustle Grow. Despite being totally thrown off schedule this month, I managed to get a lot done on my to-do list. I’m not quite ready to push publish on the webpage, but I’m confident I will have the site up and going this month. I did want to share a little something with you guys so here is the logo:
Exercise. Well this one bit the dust hard. I barely felt like sitting up, so exercise was out the door. However, the week of the move, I did get a ton of walking in. I’m slowly, this past week, getting back to the yoga mat.
SF Planning. SF, I will visit you one of these days, but it doesn’t look like it will be a day in October. Multiple reasons, but other plans/work obligations came up and the month filled up quickly.
October Goals
Let’s get into October goals!! I’m even posting this a day early I’m so excited to start fresh 😉 (And I have Into The Pint Glass scheduled tomorrow, but it’s mainly the start fresh thing). The official date of the linkup is the first Sunday/Monday of the month as a general rule. I just did not want to wait that long! Plus it gives you guys plenty of time to write your own goal post and come back and join us!! I’m organizing my goals a little differently this month than prior months.
Habit Goals
This was inspired by two sources this month: 1. Reading The Power of Habit*, 2. Stumbling across Kara’s blog Boho Berry and her journal planner, in particular her habit tracker page. The book and Kara’s design just totally clicked. So for my habit forming/routine goals I’m going to use this tracker:
You can see above how I organized it and what items I listed. Most of the goals listed above, have been listed on my goal posts for most of the year anyway. I like the idea of doing it this way. Many of the daily goals sort of run together. I’m likely to get 20 minutes of sunshine, if I a. walk Sam b. get 5,000 steps, but I’m still listing it as a separate goal. Attached is a printable version of the form above, The Daily Habit, if you want to try it out yourself. Or you can draw your own like Kara did.
