Clear The List: December

November 30, 2015 by Mariah 22 Comments

Clear-The-List-December-Goals

Oh man, we are at the last month of 2015!! The close of the year always gives me a touch of anxiety. Is that just me? Well, I’m going to try to make the most of December. Join me and my co-hosts, Esther from Local Adventurer, Lindsay from Lindsay Does Languages, and Shannon from Eurolinguiste in encouraging each other in reaching our goals, and #clearthelist. Linkup your goal setting post below and cheer your fellow bloggers on with their goals.

Clear The List

Let’s look back on November…

Habit Tracking

Did ok, not great. I think the waking up is a bit easier since the time change, though I HATE the time change. I did re-design the tracker and here it is if you want to use it too. I think this one is a bit cleaner, easier to use.

November Daily Haibts

The rest of November goals….well, I did not really get those done as expected. I was sick for almost 2-weeks, we took an unexpected trip, Thanksgiving, and then I found myself sitting here writing up this post 🙂 I guess some months just go that way. I feel like I’ve made progress, but just not in areas I thought I would focus on this past month. Moving onto December.

December Goals

This month is going to be based around planning for 2016. I’m really struggling with focusing and productivity, so I want to try to use December to get things straight.

*Finish my planner for 2016

*Make 90-day plan for BHG (Bloom Hustle Grow)

*Work on bucket list for 2016

*Update 101 in 1001, & San Diego Bucket List

*Work on editorial calendars for FBB & BHG

I’m going to leave it at that for December, short and looking ahead to 2016.

How are you preparing for 2016? If you have a goals post, join us and link it up below!!

High five for the habit list! 😀 Excited for 2016 for you! I’ve nicknamed this month ‘Prepare’ this year as it’s pretty much all about prep behind the scenes over here! 🙂

Hope it’s helpful to you Mary!! It’s helpful but sometimes I don’t fill it in for a few days. It works better for me if I look at it daily 🙂

Yes.. the end of the year is just SO stressful!! I’m just trying to thik of it as any other month.. and if it doesn’t work out.. there’s always January.. which is just another month! I don’t know why we put so much pressure on ourselves to wrap everything up by Jan 1 and jumpstart all our new goals that day too. 🙁 Let’s do a lunch date! Maybe we can do blogging / business accountability. 🙂 I used to do that with a girlfriend back home and check in once a week on how we’re doing on our goals and brainstorm how we can move forward in certain areas. I also need to update my bucket list.. and 101.. HAHA I look at that like every 6 months.. oops!!

It’s because it’s a mile marker, END OF 2015!!! (announced in a loud, spooky voice) 🙂 Yes, we should totally do lunch!! Let me know when you have a free day. I’m happy to be your accountability partner. I’m good at keeping others in line 😉 I tried to keep December light to have a good/organized/fresh start for January.

I’m with you — I mainly want to focus on planning for 2016 this month. But I also want to “stay present” and enjoy the season too. It’s weird/tough to balance that.

I just want a little break, and try to get organized to start 2016 on the best foot! I hope you enjoy your December Allison!

Illness in October still affected my goals for November, since I was trying to catch up!

Most of my goals for this month involve looking forward to next year too.

It’s hard to play catch-up. Hopefully you will catch up for 2016!

Ugh, that sucks that you were sick for so long. I hope you feel better now?!

The anxiety you get at the end of the year visits me at the end of the summer. So I can tell you from recent experience, it will pass and there are no lingering “I should have’s” left! 🙂
Be gentle and kind to yourself, it will all happen when it’s supposed to.
Good luck with your goals, and especially with BHG!

Thank you M!! I’m feeling better now (for the most part). I just keep getting these allergy/sinus infections, it is so annoying. I think I’m going to have to go to a specialist or something 🙁 I just have had a blah few months, but I’m feeling better. You have been kicking butt on your goals 😉 Proud of you!!
