This holiday season I’m making a plea for you to change your gifting habits. Lots of blogs this time of year do a gift giving guide, but I’m going to one up the competition and say start your own wish list. It’s the perfect time to start because I know you have seen a ton of great self gifts 🙂 Double the productivity of those shopping hours and start making your own list. Think of the number of gifts you give a year- would it not be so much easier for the giver and better for the receiver to get items that are wanted and needed? We don’t gain the mind-reading ability when we give up believing in Santa.

Seriously people, let’s get in the game and stop the wasteful gift giving. It is the thought that counts but I hate the thought that you just spent $$ on something I’m going to stick in the back of the closet. It’s the grown-up version of “Dear Santa”.
